This experiment allows students to predict the size of unknown molecules based on a set of standard dye markers. It includes the standard dye markers and samples of dye molecules of unknown size.

Staining is not required for this experiment.


All components are stable at room temperature. Results must be analyzed upon completion of electrophoretic separation and cannot be stored overnight.
